Posted by zer0primus on July 19, 2006

A report released by Gamasutra states that 60% of all Xbox 360’s are attached to Xbox Live. Thats a 50% increase from the Xbox. That means that over half of all Xbox 360’s are on Live, thats a lot of deathmatches.

Microsoft plays new tune.

Posted by zer0primus on July 19, 2006

Zune, yeah you heard me Zune. That is the name of the new Microsoft MP3 player. Now one thing that has been rumored, Microsoft will pay for all of your iTunes song downloads. If they do this, it may bring a whole crowd of people along with it, but only if they include more options with less money. There will be Zune to Zune wireless song transfers. How this will work we will have to wait and see, but I can’t wait to see what it can do.

Transformers

Posted by zer0primus on July 5, 2006

Activision announced they will be publishing the Transformers Movie Game, to be released along side the Move coming to theaters July 4, 2007. No other information has been released at this time. This reporter will just take a wait and see approach, but if done right this could be the game of 2007 (behind Halo 3 of course)

Prey Demo

Posted by zer0primus on July 5, 2006

The demo for Prey was finally released, and yet nobody knows why it took so long. I have yet to take a look at multiplayer, the story levels where quite long in fact probably the longest demo I’ve ever played on any console. While the setting was beautiful the human characters seemed lack luster to me. We will keep hoping for some improvements before release. The portal gimmick works very well, sometimes letting you shoot yourself in the back. Prey introduces a new play style on an old idea. You never die; simply when your character is hurt enough you go on a “spirit walk”.This also allows a secondary play style letting you leave your body at any time, while not innovative it does move play along nicely and mixes it up at the same time. All in all the single player demo for Prey is a good waste of time, download it and try for yourself.
